Country Born Card

I decided to make an 8" x 3 1/2" card the other day.  What will I use for an envelope?  Well, I have three options.  I can cut one out on the Cricut using a CTMH cartridge, use a CTMH template from one of the Card Confidence program books, or I can use my mom's handy tutorial for making any-size envelope.


Using CTMH's "Country Born" stamp set, I came up with this card.

I used the soft brown of Cashmere cardstock and ink to compliment the Colonial White and Parchment card.  Simple scoring 1/4" around the card added subtle pizzazz.  Heavy sponging of the paper ribbon to the right of the image gave a slight contrast and added balance.
